Role Overview

The visual merchandise intern will work closely with the packaging & retail creative team, and several cross-functional teams. Support product visibility in retail by creating unique and visually appealing visual merchandising projects. Assist with all retail related projects from concept to execution ensuring alignment with BASE brand guidelines and visual identity in online or offline presence.

Responsibilities

Assist with creating unique visually compelling for BASE projects
Effectively communicate ideas
Juggle multiple projects while staying organized, keeping their workload, and reaching out to key team members as needed to keep projects moving
Creating detailed drawings of the design: exploded view, technical drawings, and renderings
Assist with the execution of design projects including production and placement
Have a passion for design and all things creative!

Requirements

Final year student in Interior Design or equivalent qualification
Strong knowledge of 3D design software such as SketchUp, Revit, Blender, or similar programs
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, in particular lllustrator & Photoshop
Understanding design principles, including color theory, spatial arrangements, and materials selection.
Understand the process and be able to concept, and brainstorm ideas before executing the creative output
Interest in beauty industry: skincare, cosmetics, fragrance
Strong interpersonal skills, with exemplary attention to detail
Team player with a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
