Role Overview

The Live Commerce Specialist will play a key role in the growth and success of PT. Basis Inovasi Global by creating, managing, and optimizing live commerce experiences. This position focuses on leveraging live streaming technology to create interactive, engaging shopping experiences for customers, driving real-time sales, and enhancing brand visibility. The primary goal is to bridge the gap between entertainment, product discovery, and direct sales within live streaming platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Develop live commerce strategies from concepts, formats, and content.
  • Continuously monitor industry trends and competitor streams to keep content fresh, engaging, and competitive.
  • Create live streaming promotion plan.
  • Work closely with the E-commerce Key Account Manager, Customer Experience, Operations and Social Media teams to align promotions and address any issues across each channel.
  • Prepare titles, promotional summaries, and talking points for hosts to ensure the messaging is consistent and flows smoothly throughout the live stream.
  • Create and organize monthly host schedule.
  • Responsible for maintaining the quality of the host and create monthly host performance review.
  • Monitor livestream quality and coordinate the technical setup to ensure a professional and engaging presentation.
  • Prepare reports and evaluate key metrics (views, engagement, feedback) to measure success and identify areas for optimization.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in live streaming, e-commerce, or digital marketing, with a proven track record of developing and managing successful live commerce events.
  • Familiarity with live streaming platforms and e-commerce integration tools.
  • Excellent management and communication skills: Ability to motivate, manage, and direct teams.
  • Strong analytical skills: Able to measure and analyze live stream performance and drive improvements based on data insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: Capable of handling live event challenges, including technical issues or team concerns, in a quick and professional manner.
  • Creative thinking: Ability to develop innovative live commerce strategies and content that resonate with audiences, boost engagement, and drive sales.
  • Experience in the beauty, fashion, or e-commerce industry is a plus, as it provides valuable insights into customer preferences and market trends.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
