Accounting Intern

The Accounting Intern role is part one of the coolest groups at BASE, People and Finance. As an Accounting Intern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate operation of our finance department. Your responsibilities will assist FBP to encompass data entry, journaling, and documentation management. You will be expected to work with precision and adhere to accounting guidelines and deadlines.

This position will report directly to our Finance Business Partner.

Data Entry/Journaling:

• Support to journal all transactions from the bank.
• Support to create monthly financial reports.
• Support prepare monthly financial analytics with finance business partners.

Documentation:

• Maintain all payment docs & payment proof: Maintain organized records of payment instructions, receipts, and payment proofs. Ensure all documents are easily retrievable for auditing and reporting purposes.

• Last semester student, Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting. Vocational high school in Accounting is a plus.
• Previous experience in an accounting role is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in data entry, MS Excel, and accounting software is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
